Lancaster Resident Kannon Pandy Killed in Challenger Way Collision [Lancaster, CA]

Lancaster, CA (September 27, 2023) – Kannon Pandy, a 19-year-old Lancaster resident was killed in a Challenger Way collision Monday night.

The fatal two-vehicle collision unfolded at about 10:40 p.m. near Avenue H-4.

According to the investigators, a sedan driven by Pandy was northbound on Challenger Way when he made a left turn or attempted a U-turn in the path of an SUV southbound on the same road. The two vehicles collided.

Pandy was not wearing a seatbelt during the incident and died at the scene.

Moreover, the rescuers transported the SUV driver to a hospital with minor injuries.

It is not yet determined if alcohol or drugs played a role in Pandy.
