Kamrin Gonzales Killed in Chula Vista Pedestrian Accident
CHULA VISTA, CA (August 24, 2021) – Last month, Kamrin Gonzales, 14, was killed, and another teen was injured in a pedestrian crash on Fourth Avenue.
According to Chula Vista Police Lt. Jason Deaner, the incident happened at around 7:40 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Fourth Avenue at Park Way.
Reports revealed that a northbound vehicle struck two female teenagers as they crossed the road in a marked crosswalk. The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, remained at the scene.
Furthermore, responders transported one victim to UC San Diego Medical Center with critical injuries. Meanwhile, the other teenager transported the incident to Scripps Mercy Hospital. That teen, identified as 14-year-old Kamrin Gonzales, died two days later as a result of her injuries.
