Justin Schuler Dead in Auburn Motorcycle Crash on Placer Hills Road
AUBURN, CA (August 19, 2019) – A Grass Valley man died in a motorcycle and car crash on Placer Hills Road on August 15.
Justin Schuler rode east on Placer Hills Road about 8:10 p.m. when he ran a stop sign at Placer Hills Road and Crother Road intersection. Schuler struck a Subaru and died at the scene. Meanwhile, Subaru’s female driver did not suffer any injury.
According to the CHP, Schuler rode fast in the middle of the road and did not see the car. Justin Schuler crashed into the Subaru’s side. The collision ejected Schuler off his bike.
It’s still unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
Meanwhile, the road remained closed for one and a half hours during the investigation.
