Justin Neva Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Nelson Avenue in Oroville

 
Oroville, CA (December 22, 2020) – On Sunday, 57-year-old Justin Neva of Berry Creek died, while police arrested 30-year-old Andrew Arrieta of Oroville in a hit-and-run crash on Nelson Avenue and Fogg Avenue.
 
The authorities responded to the crash scene at 9 a.m., wherein a witness reported a man running away from the scene.
 
When officers arrived, they located Neva lying on the sidewalk. The authorities pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
LMr. Neva was standing next to his parked vehicle, when Andrew Arrieta veered onto the shoulder. Arrieta struck Neva’s vehicle and a trailer, which then struck Neva.
 
Moreover, police arrested Arrieta and booked him into the Butte County Jail. His bail is set at $160,000.
