Justin Hefferon Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Fulkerth Road [Turlock, CA]

Turlock Man, 29, Hit by Vehicle after Exiting SUV on Fulkerth Road

 
TURLOCK, CA (August 1, 2019) – Authorities identified 29-year-old Justin Hefferon of Turlock as the man killed in a hit-and-run crash on Fulkerth Road, late Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 11:30 PM. Hefferon’s vehicle was involved in a solo crash near North Commons Road. Subsequently, he exited his Isuzu SUV and was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
 
Unfortunately, Hefferon suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the area.
 
The CHP encourages witnesses or anyone with information to cooperate as soon as possible. Authorities will release additional details once they become available.
