25-Year-Old Justin Friedrich Killed in Crash Scene on Higgins Airport Road

 
Skagit County, WA (March 19, 2021) – On Tuesday, a 25-year-old Bellingham man, Justin Friedrich, died in a head-on crash on Higgins Airport Road.
 
The fatal accident happened at about 1 p.m. near Ovenell Road west of Burlington.
 
Apparently, Friedrich was driving south when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound vehicle.
 
Officers pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Moreover, authorities said it was unknown if Friedrich was wearing a seat belt during the accident.
 
Meanwhile, rescuers rushed the driver of the other vehicle to Skagit Valley Hospital with injuries.
 
Police are investigating the incident.
