Sean Ocasio-Hogue Involved in Fatal Head-On Collision on Highway 79
Midland, TX (August 9, 2023) On Friday afternoon, Juan Vazquez-Quevedo and another man died in a head-on crash on US 79.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal head-on collision happened at about 3:50 p.m. on Highway 79, near Milano.
Reports say that a westbound 2023 GMC Acadia SUV, driven by 38-year-old Sean Ocasio-Hogue, of Kissimmee, FL, collided with a 2008 Honda Fit passenger car driven by Vazquez-Quevedo.
Officials say that Ocasio-Hogue’s GMC entered a right curve, at the same time Vazquez-Quevedo’s Honda entered the same curve. The GMC crashed into the Honda and the impact of the collision killed Vazquez-Quevedo and another unidentified man.
Texas DPS pronounced both men dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating the fatal head-on collision.
