1 Dead in Las Vegas Motorcycle Accident on South Decatur Boulevard near Doe Avenue

LAS VEGAS, NV (April 30, 2023) – Late Friday night, Juan Soroa-Villatoro and another person were injured in a tragic motorcycle crash on South Decatur Boulevard.

The incident involving a truck and a motorcycle happened at around 11:16 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on South Decatur Boulevard near Doe Avenue.

Meanwhile, officers determined that a 2022 Dodge Ram was facing north in the left lane of Decatur. Then, a 2021 Harley-Davidson Bob motorcycle headed north on Decatur.

However, it approached the truck while speeding. As a result, the motorcycle crashed into the back of the truck, ejecting the rider in the process.

Moreover, the identity of the driver who succumbed to injuries at the scene remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.

Also, responders took the truck driver, Juan Soroa-Villatoro, and the passenger, Valery Paola-Espanoza of Las Vegas to the hospital. Both of them suffered only minor injuries.

Also, the authorities haven’t found any signs of impairment. Moreover, the fatal motorcycle crash marks the 41st traffic-related fatality of 2023 in Metro Police’s jurisdiction.
