THOUSAND OAKS, CA (September 13, 2020) – Saturday morning, authorities arrested Juan Garcia after a crash on Westlake Boulevard.
 
The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. on the northbound side of Westlake Boulevard near Bay Drive.
 
According to reports, a 60-year-old male pedestrian from Calabasas was walking in the bike lane. However, 26-year-old Juan Plasencia Garcia of Oak Park then struck him from behind.
 
When the emergency medical personnel came to the scene, they located the man with serious injuries. Then, they took him Los Robles Health System in unknown condition.
 
After an investigation, the deputies arrested Juan Garcia on suspicion of felony driving under the influence. Furthermore, the authorities confirmed that Garcia didn’t suffer any injury from the accident.
 
Also, he stayed at the scene during the investigation.
