LAS VEGAS, NV (May 23, 2023) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Josue Ghione after a tragic pedestrian crash near East Sahara Avenue.
The crash occurred at about 9:30 p.m. near East Sahara Avenue and South Maryland Parkway.
According to reports, the 27-year-old suspect drove a 2020 Honda Civic. Then, he struck a woman walking outside a marked crosswalk.
Afterward, Ghione fled the crash scene.
Meanwhile, responders took the pedestrian to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center where he succumbed to injuries.
