Bicyclist Joshua Pumphrey Dead Following Fullerton Bicycle Crash on Bastanchury Road

 
FULLERTON, CA (November 24, 2020) – Monday afternoon, 33-year-old Joshua Pumphrey died in a bicycle accident on Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way in Fullerton.
 
The deadly Fullerton accident happened around 5:45 p.m. while the bicyclist rode on Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way.
 
Then, a southbound white Mercedes-Benz on Bastanchury Road hit him.
 
Responders transported him to a hospital and declared him dead a short time later.
 
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
 
At this time, the authorities ruled out drugs or alcohol as a factor in the Bastanchury Road bicycle accident.
 
A GoFundMe has been set up for Mr. Pumphrey’s memorial expenses. He married two weeks before the accident, and is survived by his wife Tanya.
