Hit-and-Run Crash on 101 Freeway in Hollywood Leaves Joshua Gray Dead

 
Hollywood, CA (February 05, 2021) – On Friday, Joshua Gray, 25, died in a tragic hit-and-run crash on the 101 Freeway in the East Hollywood area.
 
The fatal incident took place at about 5:05 a.m. on Melrose Avenue near Ardmore Avenue.
 
Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased until later in the day.
 
Police arrived to the scene at 4:50 a.m. on North Ardmore Avenue near Melrose Avenue.
 
There, they found the pedestrian lying in the road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The victim, Long Beach man Joshua Gray, is said to have been struck by a vehicle on the 101 south by Fountain Avenue, then dragged about a mile to the 700 block of North Ardmore, according to a news release.
