Joshua Ajer Dead in Sherman Oaks Accident on 101 Freeway and Van Nuys Boulevard

 
SHERMAN OAKS, CA (February 8, 2021) – Early Monday, Joshua Ajer, 33, died in a car and box truck crash on the 101 Freeway and Van Nuys Boulevard.
 
Shortly after, police arrested Michael Snee, 29, of Beverly Hills for driving under the influence (DUI) during the fatal accident.
 
The Sherman Oaks crash between a compact car (SUV) and a box truck happened at 1:50 a.m.
 
Moreover, it occurred eastbound on the Ventura Freeway at Van Nuys Boulevard.
 
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart, the car rear-ended the box truck.
 
As a result, the SUV’s driver, Mr. Ajer of Ventura, died at the scene.
 
No other person suffered an injury in the fatal Sherman Oaks crash.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities shut down all eastbound lanes. Also, the officers noted that the car had caught fire.
 
Snee is currently being held on a $15,000 bail.
