27-Year-Old Apple Valley Man Fatally Injured in Fontana Construction Accident near Rose Avenue
FONTANA, CA (July 25, 2018) – A man was killed Wednesday afternoon following an industrial accident near Rose Avenue. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 27-year-old Apple Valley resident Joshua Aaron Gutierrez.
As per reports, the deadly incident took place at about 3:14 PM in the 11000 block of Calabash Avenue. Fontana police arrived at the scene and located Gutierrez suffering from trauma to his body.
Unfortunately, Gutierrez succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 3:23 PM. Events that led to the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation will be conducted by Cal-OSHA, Fontana Police Department, and The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office. No further details have been disclosed to the public at this time.
