1 Dead in Sacramento Car Accident on Hurley Way
SACRAMENTO, CA (November 4, 2019) – A wounded man died in a car accident on Hurley Way and Morse Avenue on October 29.
According to reports, a man shot by a gun died while the car transporting him to the hospital collided into another vehicle. Authorities came to the shooting incident at about 12:03 a.m. along Traction Avenue at El Camino Avenue. Upon their arrival, witnesses revealed that a civilian car is transporting the gunshot victim to a local hospital.
However, at about 12:22 a.m., deputies came to a crash scene between two cars on Hurley Way and Morse Avenue. According to officials, 28-year-old Joseph Treneil of Sacramento occupied one of the cars. Authorities found at least one gunshot wound in Joseph Treneil.
Unfortunately, Treneil succumbed to his wounds at the crash scene. Meanwhile, the unidentified driver of the other vehicle went to a local hospital with injuries.
The CHP is still investigating the crash. Moreover, the investigators and crime scene personnel are investigating the shooting.
