15-Year-Old Joseph Rangel Dies in Hit-and-Run Crash on Olympic Boulevard [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (October 29, 2024) – 15-year-old Joseph Rangel was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Olympic Boulevard Monday morning.

It was around 1:43 a.m. when the deadly crash happened at the intersection with Arapahoe Street in Koreatown.

Troopers said the victin was riding a motorized pocket bike when he lost control and slid into the intersection. Sadly, he was struck by a car that fled the scene.

Responding officers declared Joseph Rangel deceased at the scene.

Officers said there is no available description of suspect or vehicle.

Meanwhile, anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (213) 473-0234 and there is a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone with details that leads to an arrest. 

A GoFundMe was created to help the bereaved with funeral expenses.
