Lorimar Drive Accident Kills 73-Year-Old Man
Plano, TX (March 29, 2023) – On Monday, Joseph Orchowski, 73, of Plano, sustained fatal injuries following a Preston Road pedestrian accident.
The traffic accident took place at about 6:51 a.m. in the area of Lorimar Drive.
Investigating officers said a vehicle was southbound on Preston Road when a pedestrian was struck on the roadway.
Officers said the vehicle had the green light to continue driving and said that Orchowski was walking outside of the marked crosswalk.
According to the authorities, the driver attempted to avoid Orchowski, and speed was not considered to be a reason for the accident.
Officers are investigating the Lorimar Drive accident.
