1 Dead in Moss Landing Car Accident

 
MOSS LANDING, CA (March 28, 2019) – A 25-year-old man died in a hit-and-run collision on Highway 1 near Struve Road on March 23.
 
According to Officer Jessica Madueno, a CHP Officer found a body of a man on the right side of the road while driving about 9:00 a.m. The man already died, and his injuries showed signs that a vehicle struck him.
 
The authorities identified the victim as 25-year-old Joseph Hunt of New Hampshire.
 
They also described the victim’s injuries as “significant head and body trauma.”
 
Meanwhile, authorities did not receive any 911 calls or reports of a body found. Therefore, authorities are still searching for the suspect driver.
 
Authorities encouraged anyone who witnessed the collision to contact CHP at 831-796-2160.
