WESTPHALIA, TX (July 14, 2023) – Thursday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on State Highway 320 near County Road 3000 killed Joseph Bredemeyer.

The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. on State Highway 320, near County Road 3000.

According to DPS Sgt. Ryan Howard, a southbound Hyundai struck a pedestrian who was in the roadway for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities identified the deceased as 52-year-old Abilene resident Joseph Edward Bredemeyer.
