Jose Serrano Killed in Lone Tree Road Crash [Escalon, CA]

Escalon, CA (July 15, 2021) – On Wednesday, 43-year-old Jose Serrano of Escalon died in a vehicle crash on Lone Tree Road.

The fatal incident happened at about 6:50 p.m. west of Brennan Road.

The authorities said Serrano was on his Kubota off road vehicle eastbound on Lone Tree Road at an unknown speed.

At the same time, a 57-year-old man from Manteca was westbound on his Ford F-150 on Lone Tree Road approaching the Kubota.

Serrano did not see the approaching Ford and drifted to the left, directly in the path of the oncoming Ford truck.

The Ford driver applied his brakes and drifted to the right but was unable to avoid striking the Kubota.

The front of the Ford hit the Kubota, which pushed the Kubota in a westerly direction and crashed with a power pole on the north shoulder of road.

Serrano was unrestrained and was ejected on to the north shoulder and incurred fatal injuries.

Finally, the Ford rested on the north shoulder west of the Kubota. Its driver incurred minor injuries.
