Napa, CA (January 25, 2021) – On Thursday, 18-year-old Jose Ramirez of American Canyon was injured in a rollover crash on Highway 221 and Highway 29 intersection.

The vehicle accident took place at about 4:40 p.m. when he drove through the intersection at approximately 60 mph.

His SUV went through a red light and struck a pickup truck. Then, his vehicle overturned multiple times.

Apparently, Ramirez was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. He incurred major injuries as a result of the accident.

Immediately, the responders took him to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa for treatment.

Meanwhile, the truck driver, 44-year-old Daniel Robles of Vallejo, and his passenger, 20-year-old Anthony Robles, also of Vallejo, did not incur injuries from the accident.

When behind the wheel of a vehicle, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of yourself and others around you.
