Jose Moraga-Garcia Dies in Solo Vehicle Crash on 15th Street in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (April 18, 2022) – Sunday night, 43-year-old Jose Moraga-Garcia died and one man sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash on 15th and Chambers streets.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened at around 10:10 p.m. on April 17.

Phoenix Police said the motorcycle struck a curb and ran into a tree. 

EMS took Moraga to the hospital where he died. The passenger, also a man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said alcohol was a factor in the crash.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
