LOS MOLINOS, CA (January 5, 2025) – Saturday morning, Jose Luis Vargas Moran was involved in a fatal pedestrian crash on Highway 99.

The incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. on Highway 99 near Marek Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2020 Toyota Corolla struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Moran of Anderson, remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Meanwhile, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
