Jose Campuzano Killed in Ramon Road Hit-and-Run Crash [Cathedral City, CA]

Cathedral City, CA (September 03, 2021) – On Thursday night, 43-year-old Jose Campuzano of Cathedral City, suffered fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Ramon Road.

Investigating officers said Campuzano sustained critical injuries after two vehicles hit him as he crosses Ramon Road. 

Paramedics rushed him to a hospital where he died Friday at 3 a.m.

Reports said the suspect driver was a male driver traveling in an older model Dodge RAM crew cab truck. Officers said he got out of his truck, surveyed the scene, then got back in his truck and took off.
