1 Dead in Phoenix Accident 16th Street and Roosevelt Street
PHOENIX, AZ (October 14, 2020) – Monday morning, Jose Antonio Orozco died after a shooting incident following a crash on 16th Street and Roosevelt Street.
According to police spokesperson Sgt. Mercedes Fortune, at around 3:00 a.m., authorities responded to a shooting incident. The incident happened near 16th Street and Roosevelt Street.
When they arrived at the scene, responders found 42-year-old Jose Antonio Orozco with a gunshot wound.
Investigation revealed that the shooter shot the victim over an argument after the two crashed their vehicles.
Phoenix Fire Department rushed the victim to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the suspect in the shooting is still at large, Fortune said.
The incident remains in an active investigation.
