Jose Angel Holguin and 2 Others Killed in Head-On Crash on North Montebello Boulevard [Montebello, CA]

Three People Fatally Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision near West Liberty Avenue

 
MONTEBELLO, CA (October 28, 2018) – Three people were killed Sunday evening following a two-vehicle crash near West Liberty Avenue.
 
As per reports, the incident took place shortly before 9:00 PM. A car was heading south on North Montebello Boulevard when it veered into the northbound lanes. There, it collided head-on with another vehicle.
 
Two people in the same vehicle, later identified as 22-year-old Jose Angel Holguin of Montebello and 26-year-old Nicole Farrar Brown of San Gabriel, were pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Authorities also confirmed that an unidentified passenger in the other vehicle also died in the crash.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call Officer Rene Estupinian at (323) 887-1313. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
