Jorge Navarro Found Dead on Fontana Avenue [Fontana, CA]

43-Year-Old Fontana Pedestrian Fatally Injured in Suspected Collision near Valley Boulevard

 
FONTANA, CA (August 30, 2018) – A man was found dead late Thursday evening following a suspected pedestrian accident on Fontana Avenue. The victim was later identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Office as 43-year-old Jorge Navarro of Fontana.
 
California Highway Patrol officials responded to the scene in the 15000 block of Fontana Avenue near the intersection with Valley Boulevard, at approximately 10:40 PM.
 
Navarro was found unresponsive in the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene. Events leading up to the collision are unknown at this time. The Fontana Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) continue to investigate the fatal incident.
