28-Year-Old Jordan Caleb Estes Dead in N Thornydale Road Collision [Tucson, AZ]

Tucson, AZ (October 2, 2025) – Jordan Caleb Estes, 28, was killed in a N Thornydale Road collision Monday night.

It was before 10 p.m. on September 29 when Estes was hit by a semi-truck at the intersection with West Turkey Lane.

An off-duty Arizona DPS officer witnessed the fatal collision and called 911. The officer remained at the scene until deputies arrived.

Emergency rescuers located Estes and provided lifesaving efforts, however, Estes died at the scene. It has been reported that victim was a missing patient at a local behavioral health facility.

Responding officers also found a parked big rig at the roadside. Its driver and passenger were uninjured. 

Officers confirmed that speed nor impairment were factors in this deadly crash.
