Passenger Dies, Jonathan Wilson Arrested in Arby Avenue DUI crash
Las Vegas, NV (November 07, 2021) –On Saturday, officers arrested 25-year-old Jonathan Wilson in a fatal DUI crash on Arby Avenue.
The deadly solo-vehicle crash happened at 3 p.m. near the intersection with Babiana Street.
Investigators said Wilson in a 2021 Tesla Model Y was westbound on Arby Avenue at an excessive rate of speed.
Moreover, when his vehicle got near the intersection, his vehicle’s underside contacted the roadway surface due to elevation change.
Wilson’s Tesla went airborne and rotated. His vehicle continued to rotate when it landed.
Furthermore, the vehicle ended up on the north side of Arby Avenue and struck a walk in three different sections.
Unfortunately, Wilson’s rear-seat passenger was ejected from the vehicle. Officers pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
Emergency responders rushed his 24-year-old second passenger UMC in serious condition.
Reports said a total of 4 people were in the car when the crash happened.
Later on, officers arrested Wilson and charged him with DUI and reckless driving
