CLEARLAKE, CA (January 19, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, authorities arrested Johny Leon-Rojas after a fatal bicycle crash on Boyles Avenue near 26th Avenue.
The incident happened at around 5:45 p.m. on Boyles Avenue near 26th Avenue.
According to the Clearlake Police Department, a Toyota Tundra struck a bicyclist for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, responders confirmed that the bicyclist, a man in his 40s, died in the collision.
Furthermore, officers arrested and booked the Toyota driver, 18-year-old Johnny Leon-Roja for vehicular manslaughter.
