SANTA PAUL, CA (December 15, 2023) – John Sellers died in a devastating two-vehicle crash on Highway 126 near Hobson Road.

The incident happened at around 5:34 a.m. on Highway 126, west of Hobson Road.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, an eastbound black jeep rear-ended a silver Toyota Prius that pulled out from a private driveway.

Moreover, officers confirmed that an occupant of the jeep, 60-year-old P. Sellers, was transported to Ventura County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officials said that the driver of the Prius remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Meanwhile, the crash closed all but one lane for both directions of Highway 126.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
