Retired Deputy US Marshal Identified as Motorcyclist Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision near Highway 125

 
LA MESA, CA (November 7, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed early Wednesday morning following a multi-vehicle crash near Highway 125. The victim was later identified as 65-year-old John Brady, a retired deputy US Marshal.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 5:10 AM on Interstate 8. Brady was on his way to work when he became involved in a collision.
 
Events leading up to the crash were not immediately available to the public.
 
He suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders. Meanwhile, no other injuries were reported by the authorities.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fatal crash and to identify possible contributing factors. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact the authorities as soon as possible. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
