24-Year-Old Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on East Lake Mead Boulevard
Las Vegas, NV (January 22, 2023) On Saturday morning, police arrested 19-year-old Joanna Meza of North Las Vegas after a hit-and-rUn crash on East Lake Mead Boulevard.
LVMPD says that the fatal hit-and-run crash happened at around 4:25 a.m. east of the intersection with Mt. Hood Street.
Reports say that Meza was driving the silver Toyota Avalon that fatally struck a 24-year-old woman attempting to cross the Boulevard.
Furthermore, Las Vegas police say that Joanna Meza continued driving eastbound without stopping and rendering aid to the pedestrian.
