32-Year-Old Jimmy Terriquez and Teen Killed in Tragic Crash on Walpi Road [Apple Valley, CA]

Apple Valley, CA (April 10, 2025) – 32-year-old Jimmy Terriquez of Victorville, and a teenage passenger were killed in a horrific solo-car crash on Central Road early Wednesday morning.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the shocking incident happened just after midnight near Central Road and Walpi Road.

Reports say that the solo-vehicle collision in Apple Valley claimed the lives of a man and a teenage boy.

A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy initially spotted a black 2013 Dodge Charger driving recklessly in the area but lost sight of it shortly afterward.

Moments later, the vehicle slammed into an Edison pole on Central Road, just south of Walpi Road.

Emergency responders found the driver, Terriquez of Victorville, and a teen male passenger deceased at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the teenager’s identity, pending family notification.

Investigators determined that the Dodge was speeding northbound on Walpi Road when the driver lost control, veered off the roadway, and collided with the utility pole, causing major damage.
