Jhovanna Casillas Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on Saticoy Street [Van Nuys, CA]

Fatal Crash on Saticoy Street Leaves Passenger Jhovanna Casillas Dead

Van Nuys, CA (December 11, 2021) – On Friday, a female passenger named Jhovanna Casillas, 20, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saticoy Street.

Responding officers arrived at the crash scene at about 2:40 a.m.

The fatal accident took place on the 17300 block area, in the Lake Balboa area.

Investigating officers said a Toyota Camry crashed with a Toyota Prius. Then, it slammed into a utility pole fatally injuring its female passenger. 

The emergency team rushed a man and a woman to a hospital with unknown injuries.

As for the Camry passenger, Jhovanna Casillas, officers pronounced her dead at the scene.

The authorities are investigating this fatal collision.
