Jesus Vasquez Killed in Car Crash on Acoma Drive near 32nd Street [Phoenix, AZ]

1 Dead in Phoenix Auto Accident on Acoma Drive

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 22, 2020) – 22-year-old Jesus Vasquez died in a car crash on Acoma Drive in Phoenix on July 14.
 
According to reports, Vasquez traveled in a sedan east on Acoma Drive near 32nd Street. However, Jesus Vasquez lost control of his car and collided with a Winnebago motor home in the opposite lane. As a result, he succumbed to injuries at the scene, said Phoenix police spokeswoman Sgt. Margaret Cox.
 
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old sedan passenger sustained serious injuries in the crash. Furthermore, the motor home driver suffered minor injuries.
 
At this time, the Phoenix police await a toxicology report to identify whether Vazquez suffered from impairment when the crash occurred. On the other hand, Cox confirmed that the motor home driver was not impaired.
