Driver Jesus Madrigal Arrested, Passenger Vianey Villasenor Injured in DUI Accident on Highway 120

TUOLUMNE COUNTY, CA (November 24, 2020) – On Tuesday morning, authorities arrested Jesus Madrigal after a DUI crash on Highway 120.

According to CHP, the incident involving a 1992 Chevrolet Silverado occurred east of the Stanislaus County line, between Keystone and Knights Ferry.

Reports revealed that a 1992 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 62-year-old Jesus Madrigal of Oakdale was heading west on the highway. However, it veered off the road and struck a metal fence, and rolled over before coming to rest on its left side.

CHP spokesperson Steve Machado said that Madrigal got out and walked off by himself.

Responders found Madrigal on the side of the road with a flashlight in hand to light his way. Inside the vehicle was 36-year-old Vianey Villasenor of Modesto with minor injuries, Machado added.

Authorities arrested Madrigal for DUI and Felony Tuolumne County hit-and-run on a $30,000 bail.
