Jesus Godines Struck and Killed in East Fresno

 
Fresno, CA (August 20, 2020) – On Wednesday, 46-year-old Jesus Godines was struck and killed in a pedestrian accident on N Maple Avenue and E Dakota Avenue.
 
Moreover, the fatal accident happened before 9:30 p.m. on August 19 at an intersection in Central Fresno.
 
The report said a woman driving a vehicle traveling southbound on Maple Avenue struck the Fresno resident.
 
The involved driver told the authorities that she saw Mr. Godines sitting on the roadway but was unable to stop or swerve in time.
 
The authorities pronounced the man dead at the scene.
 
Officers identified the victim as a man in his 50s but did not disclose his name pending notification of the family.
