Jesus Abraham Ayala Killed in Accident on Cole Boulevard and Dogwood Road [Calexico, CA]

1 Fatally Injured in Calexico Crash on Cole Boulevard

 
CALEXICO, CA (October 23, 2020) – Monday night, Jesus Abraham Ayala died in an accident on Cole Boulevard in Calexico.
 
According to reports, the incident involved a black Hyundai Elantra and a White Jeep Cherokee.
 
The CHP revealed that the Elantra was driving west on Cole Boulevard. Meanwhile, the Jeep was driving south on Dogwood Road. As the Hyundai drove close to the intersection, the vehicle didn’t stop and drove directly into the path of the Jeep.
 
As a result, the sole occupant of the Elantra, 29-year-old Jesus Abraham Ayala of El Centro, died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the unidentified Jeep driver, a 19-year-old El Centro resident, sustained moderate injuries. Responders took the driver to a hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, the authorities confirmed that both drivers wore seatbelts.
 
The crash remains under active investigation.
