Jesse Neaves Arrested, Two Dead after Rialto Car Accident
RIALTO, CA (July 9, 2019) – Officers arrested Jesse Neaves after he intentionally crashed his car killing two women on Saturday, July 6.
According to the Rialto Police Department, at around 9:30 p.m., officers and paramedics rushed to the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Spruce Avenue. They found one woman lying dead in the roadway and another dead inside a silver Hyundai Sonata.
The two women were inside the Hyundai and stopped at a red signal in the eastbound lane of Foothill Boulevard. After that, a grey Lexus approached from behind at a high rate of speed. Without attempting to turn or stop, the vehicle seemed to intentionally rear-end the Hyundai at speeds more than 70 mph, Rialto Police.
The impact of the incident killed the two women, according to authorities.
Police arrested 40-year-old Neaves, who drove the Lexus with three passengers inside, on two homicide charges, Rialto Police stated.
Responders transported Neaves and his passengers to a hospital for medical treatment. The driver will be booked after being medically cleared, police said.
The conditions of Neaves and his three passengers is not available.
