Jesse Lovins Injured by Vehicle in Accident on Highway 70

 
Quincy, CA (December 18, 2020) – On Friday, 32-year-old Jesse Lovins of Quincy was injured, while 53-year-old Jackie Fogleman, also of Quincy, was involved in a pedestrian accident on Highway 70.
 
The crash happened at about 5:23 p.m. east of Fairgrounds Road.
 
CHP report said Fogleman was driving a 1998 Honda westbound in the rightmost traffic lane.
 
At the same time, Lovins was walking northbound across the roadway in a poorly lit area with approaching vehicles.
 
As a result, Fogleman’s vehicle struck Lovins who incurred major injuries.
 
The rescuers took Lovins to Plumas District Hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities investigate the incident.
