Clovis Man Jermaine Nord Killed in Interstate 27 Collision [Lubbock, TX]

Deadly Big Rig Collision in Lubbock

Lubbock, TX (November 30, 2023) – 32-year-old Jermaine Nord of Clovis was killed following an Interstate 27 collision early Wednesday morning.

Investigating officers said Nord was involved in a previous collision on the freeway and moved his car from the center median into the outside lane of travel.

However, Nord was fatally struck by a big rig driven by 38-year-old Brandon Brown.

Nord succumbed to his injuries at the crash scene. Brown, on the other hand, was not injured.

Officers are still investigating.
