Pursuit Suspect Detained after Stockton Crash on Fremont Street

STOCKTON, CA (June 22, 2020) – Early Saturday afternoon, the police arrested Jereme Rosa after a pursuit on Fremont Street.

The chase started at about 1:30 p.m. on Fremont Street and Oro Avenue. According to authorities, Jereme Rosa veered his car and almost hit an undercover car.

The police tried to stop him through a traffic stop. However, Rosa fled, speeding. Afterward, Rosa threw a gun out of his window before crashing into an undercover car and two pedestrians. Fortunately, the two pedestrians didn’t suffer any injury.

The chase stopped in Linden in the 5300 block of Dicarlo Drive. Then, 45-year-old Jereme Rosa from Linden fled on foot.

However, the authorities managed to arrest him and booked him into the San Joaquin County Jail. According to the police, Rosa was on parole.

Furthermore, Rosa received charges of felony in possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed and loaded firearm. He’s also charged with possession of methamphetamine, transporting meth for sale, and assault by means likely to produce great bodily harm.
