Jenny Maxwell Injured in T-Bone Crash on Highway 70 [Rio Oso, CA]

Rio Oso, CA (October 13, 2022) – On September 22, 33-year-old Jenny Maxwell sustained serious injuries following a T-bone crash on Highway 70.

Authorities say the passenger side of her car was T-boned as she attempted to make a left turn from Highway 70 onto Kempton Road. The impact from the crash pushed her vehicle into a pole before careening into an embankment. 

Due to the crash, Jenny Maxwell got frontal lobe damage, and brain stem damage, and has not regained consciousness. She remains unconscious in the UC Davis Medical Center’s ICU.

Jenny’s family, including her two daughters and her fiance, stay by her side until they can take her home.

“We always knew what a kind soul she is. But all the people that have been reaching out to us — She’s a drug and alcohol counselor, and all the people have reached out. She’s amazing. We are just heartbroken,” Jennifer Maxwell, Jenny’s stepmother, said.
