45-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle near Foothill Boulevard
POMONA, CA (July 18, 2018) – A woman was killed Wednesday evening after she was struck by a vehicle in the area of North Towne Avenue. The coroner’s office later identified the deceased victim as 45-year-old Jennifer Williams.
According to the Pomona Police Department, the collision happened shortly before 9:40 PM near Foothill Boulevard. Details on events leading to the deadly crash were not immediately available.
The first officers on the scene found Williams down in lanes of traffic, while the driver of the vehicle that hit the victim remained at the scene. Williams was treated by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics after sustaining severe wounds and trauma. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information has been released to the public at this time.
