Jeffrey Ebey of Sumas Dies in State Route 24 Vehicle Crash [Benton County, WA]

Pasco Man Injured in Benton County Fatal Crash

Benton County, WA (January 28, 2023) – On Thursday morning, Jeffrey Ebey, 34, of Sumas, sustained fatal injuries in a State Route 24 vehicle crash.

The incident took place at about 3:30 about 20 miles west of West Richland.

According to WSP, Jeffrey Ebey crossed over the median line and struck an eastbound vehicle head-on.

Unfortunately, Jeffrey Ebey died at the scene. Officers said he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

The other vehicle’s driver, a man from Pasco, was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.

Reports said both of the vehicles were totaled. WSP is investigating the Benton County fatal crash.
