Ronald Fix, Jayson Salzman Injured in Las Vegas Car Accident
LAS VEGAS, NV (May 20, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries while another person died in a car collision on Craig Road on May 19.
Authorities responded on West Craig Road and North Rainbow Boulevard around 2:12 a.m.
The footage revealed a southbound 2014 Ford Fusion on Rainbow entered the intersection at Craig. Meanwhile, a speeding westbound 2012 Ford Focus on Craig ran a red light. The Focus then hit the left side of the Fusion as both vehicles entered the intersection.
Police revealed that medics took the 55-year-old Fusion male driver of Tehachapi, to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. However, the medical staff said that he later died.
Meanwhile, 54-year-old Ronald Fix of Laguna Niguel, the Fusion passenger, sustained critical injuries.
29-year-old Jayson Salzman of Henderson, the Focus driver, suffered minor injuries. Authorities booked him into the Clark County Detention Center on suspicion of DUI.
Salzman was booked on two counts of reckless driving, one count of DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm and one count of DUI resulting in death.
