Missouri Department of Transportation Worker Killed in Pettis County Accident
Pettis County, MO (September 25, 2024) – A Missouri Department of Transportation worker, Jay Bone, 60, of Smithon, was killed in a pedestrian accident on Route O Tuesday.
Troopers said Bone was on the job when he was hit by a 2005 Peterbilt 379 driven by Brandon Knox, 18, of Hughesville. The big rig was traveling north and was passing the work crew when the accident happened.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating the Pettis County accident.
