Las Vegas, NV (October 17, 2021)– On Saturday, 19-year-old Jawuan Richardson of Las Vegas, and a 1-year-old boy, were injured in a pedestrian accident on Boulder Highway.
The traffic accident happened at 8:04 p.m. north of East Twain Avenue
Investigating officers said two pedestrians, one pushing a stroller with an infant inside, were crossing the highway inside a marked crosswalk.
Unfortunately, a Kia Optima driver failed to stop for the pedestrians and crashed with the stroller and a man.

Then, another vehicle struck Richardson while lying on the road.
The other pedestrian, a 20-year-old woman, did not sustain injuries from the accident.
Immediately, emergency responders took the 1-year-old boy to University Medical Center in critical condition. Similarly, they took Richardson to Sunrise Hospital and Medical center in critical condition.
