Jasmine Herrera and Jose Herrera Killed in Accident in 91 Freeway [Bellflower, CA]

Father and Daughter Die in 91 Freeway Truck Accident near Downey Avenue

 
Bellflower, CA (May 13, 2020) – On Tuesday afternoon, Jasmine Herrera and Jose Herrera died in a truck accident on the 91 Freeway near Downey Avenue.
 
According to a local news release, Jasmine Herrera, 15, and her father Jose Herrera, 44, initially drove on the 91 Freeway eastbound.
 
For unknown reasons, the vehicle later steered to the right, then off the roadway, until they went airborne and collided into the 91 on-ramp below.
 
The vehicle, a Mercedes-Benz, landed onto a white pick up truck. The truck was parked onto a construction site on the freeway, and no one resided in the truck when the Mercedes collided into it.
